Projects Indecon

Indecon worked together with various stakeholders in developing ecotourism, or sustainable tourism, or community based tourism. Our activities included development and mentoring activities at destination level or attraction level, training activities, as well as research activities. Indecon also partnered with various organizations at international, national, and local level; including donors (i.e. UNWTO, European Union, IUCN, UNESCO, KfW), national government (i.e. Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy), other NGOs (i.e. WWF, TNC, CI) and local government.

Our works extend throughout Indonesia, including:
– Sumatra; including Aceh (Sabang, Singkil, Gayo Lues, Ketambe Kutacane); North Sumatra (Tangkahan, Lake Toba, Nias Islands), West Sumatra (Mentawai, Kerinci); Riau and Riau Islands (Rimbang Baling); Lampung (WayKambas, Bukit Barisan Selatan)
– Kalimantan; including West Kalimantan (Danau Sentarum), Central Kalimantan (Tanjung Puting, Sebangau), and East Kalimantan (Berau, Kutai Barat)
– Java; including Banten (Sawarna, Baduy), West Java (Pangandaran, Bogor), Central Java (Borobudur), and East Java (Bromo, Situbondo, Baluran)

Indecon bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak dalam mengembangkan ekowisata atau pariwisata yang berkelanjutan, ataupun pariwisata berbasis masyarakat. Kegiatan Indecon meliputi kegiatan pengembangan dan pendampingan di tingkat destinasi atau daya tarik wisata, kegiatan pelatihan, juga kegiatan penelitian. Indecon juga bermitra dengan berbagai lembaga di tingkat internasional, nasional, dan lokal; baik berupa donor (seperti UNWTO, Uni Eropa, IUCN, UNESCO), pemerintah pusat (seperti Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif), LSM lainnya (WWF, TNC, CI), dan Pemerintah Daerah.
